What does Motorway Coverage mean?
There are many brands of service station in the UK, but few are situated directly on the country’s motorway network.
To accommodate the brands that do serve motorway users, certain fuel cards, such as BP, Shell, Total and Texaco offer Motorway Coverage, meaning they can be used in garages on M roads A roads.
This can be an essential feature for some businesses, particularly those that work to tight deadlines or those with drives who rarely leave the motorway network except at the start and end of a journey. It means drivers can save both fuel and time as they no longer have to leave the motorway to look for a garage where they can fill up.
